You're right, EVs might not be for everyone, but EVs may work out fine for the average joe. The problem I see is, as time passes, it's abundantly clear that auto manufacturers hav a goal in mind to completely eliminate gas and diesel motors from the private consumer lineup, with perhaps the exception of commercial trucks and vans (although California is already getting nutty on that as well.)
When a company like Cadillac says that they want to eliminate gas motors entirely from their lineup by 2030, you know GM and Chevrolet won't be far behind. Then what, will the alternative be if no alternative is offered?
