Electrical issues!

So I had to leave my 2002 Tahoe LT 5.3 sitting for a few months up at my college over the summer and upon my return obviously the battery was dead. But after jumping it I can’t get the inside courtesy lights to shut off or the puddle lights in the mirrors. So I pulled fuses late last night and couldn’t get them to turn off so I disconnected the battery for the night. This morning it’s now running very rough and still having the lighting issues

The battery may need a full charge for everything to start working right, not just a jump. These vehicles are quite finicky when voltages are low. if the battery is more than a few years old, you might need a new one.

door latches are always suspect on these trucks, they have the circuit for done lights etc built in

Battery sits over the summer and age is suspect. Start with a new battery.
