Emergency braking…

I’ve gotten the warnings quite a few times, but the system has never actually tapped the brakes….I’m assuming it does brake eventually, correct? Anyone ever had it slow or stop them in response?

Yes multiple times, did it yesterday. Had adaptive cruise on and this car was already perpendicular to me turned left and I was not really close at all and I would say a moderate brake was applied. Really wish that was something that could be turned off with the acc....kinda like auto stop/start ha

had our 2019 do it once, light turned green and everybody started moving and then the vehicle in front of me "stopped" after we had gotten through the light....have had the light/audible warning come on quite a bit, but that's the only time it's braked

Speed is a factor as well. It will not slam on the brakes. It will disengage cruise and slightly apply brake pedal if you are below 50 mph

Last weekend, coming back on about a 30 mile drive in Southeastern MN, about 11:40pm. Came over a hill and a deer standing in the road about 1/8 mile in front of me, my cruise was on about 62MPH, I hit the brakes light to moderate, and the vehicle took over and really hit the brakes. We stopped hard...scared the heck out of my passengers, but...we didin't hit the deer.
