I am looking for them, and cant find many? Have found a broken one that may be causing my problems, but its on top and i have no idea where or what its ground. I have a picture.

Its left of the brake booster, the two studs that have ground wires attached. The left goes to the head, the one on the right goes where?! Mine was broken, and im trying to fix it. Can someone pup thier hood and send a picture of where the other end is grounded please? It runs with the harness to the hood light, but not all the way up it.

Thanks in advance! Also if anyone know where the other grounds are besides those 2 would be much appreciated.

Since people post in the wrong sections all the time, can you share the year of your rig or is it a secret?

On my 02 the stud on the right has a ground wire that comes out of the hood light harness and that is it. I believe there is grounds at the top of intake coming in from the passenger side and some along the frame next to engine.

Hi MonstroniuM,

The ground strap on my 03 Ykon SLT looks the same. I have been doing some research as it looks like I have a ground trouble (which leads to reduced engine power message).

Here is a pic from under my hood.

I also found a few useful diagrams showing the ground connections:

I hope these help you out.
