Engine bog on highway

that means it had a active misfire trapped a component code that was intermittent. see if you cant pull a code history to look at. aka stored or pending codes.

Flashing CEL could be a misfire code. Why didn't you stop by an vatozone to get it checked?

because he was tripping the light fantastic down the american highway to stop at the vatozone.

so the engine bog still occasionally occurs while at highway speeds.

Im starting to think my egr valve is sticking or starting to go.

almost everytime i startup (besides cold starts) the engine sounds like its stumbling over its self and has a groggy startup. it starts everytime and runs fine as soon as it starts up.

when this stumbling occurs on startup my emissions pump comes on for about 5-10 seconds

Put a real time scanner on there and see exactly what it's doing rather then make a vague post here every few months. Miiiiiight get it fixed quicker. Just sayin ...
