Engine hours

Have a 2011 Tahoe ppv, took apart the dash to trace wires and when I plugged the gauge cluster back in the engine hours displayed. I didn’t know I could see that but it showed 2540. The Tahoe has 84,000 miles. Researching online shows that should be okay bordering on the low side especially for a ppv. No crazy lifter noise or anything. I changed oil and added mystery oil in the help clean out the motor. You guys seeing the same amount of hours per mileage? I’m about 33 mph (84000/2540).

Mine was a little over 40 (43 I believe) when I got it, at just under 69000.

I have 151000 miles on my tahoe and 6325 hrs. No issues at all.

I think mine might have been reset, cuz it showed something like 500 hrs at 70000 miles. does any body know if it is resettable ? I didn't want to try it.

It was used in Phoenix AZ and shipped to Jax FL about 6 months prior to me purchasing it. I bought it from a ford dealer.

@2011SSVHOE Apparently the dealer can do this, or a weak battery based on what I've read online.

My truck came with 9800 hours and 200K KM. Been running great since I picked it up.

We have plenty of places to wash our trucks. Most gas stations have a car wash that rinses the underneath with warm water and plenty of it.
