Just my opinon. Stick with OEM unless the chemical properties of the aftermarket brand are exactly the same. For instance, some brands may have unacceptable pH. I have experienced this before which resulted in rusting issues.

Was your engine running hot or were you just trying to improve on the normal temperature?

It was not runnning hot at all I was just trying to improve on the normal temperature. Less stress on the engine. Plus I have a clear radiator hose what it flows through for car shows.

I would bet that a clear hose sure would be hard to keep clean and looking clear. I'm guessing you don't DD your Yukon?
