Got a weird one here... I've got a 04 Yukon Denali with 149k miles, always up to date with maintenance and just recently had an oil change done (always fully synthetic).

So here I am driving on the highway going about 60mph when I decide to speed up to 70mph instead. While doing so, my engine light comes on but I have no issues with accelerating or anything else for that matter. When I get home I decide to check out what the problem could be but didn't see or smell anything out of the ordinary?

I wake up the next day for work and bam the engine light is off? What's going on here? I've had this happen to me 3 times in the past 1 1/2 weeks - any clues?

Damn it, I don't have a reader.. Guess ill stop by autozone or something to have them give me a quick read... Will I have to wait till I get the engine light on again? It's off right now o_O

No need The code should be stored for up to 50 miles or something like that I would head to auto zone and it should have some stored codes
