Engine Light Only No Other Power No Start

It only takes one post to be loose for it to not work or test as dead. When I tried to tighten the positive lug the battery came to life. As I tightened it I noticed it moved ever so slightly. So I moved it back and the battery died. So I tightened it again and went around to the shop I bought if from, with the receipt, and got a new one. I bought it around 6 months prior. Even the manager said that it happens, but not that often.
