2007 Yukon SLT purchased new. Replaced the driver side engine mount a couple of months ago at about 115,000 miles. Yep, about $500. I do not tow anything to speak of, don't off-road it and don't believe I have a particularly heavy foot. Seems like it's just a wear item. It was replaced with oem mount.

I've been watching these motor mount threads for a while and I'm amazed that those of you who've had your mounts replaced especially at a dealer are still using production mounts. I work for a police vehicle fleet with almost 200 Tahoe's. GM put out a bulletin in like 2008 for a heavy duty replacement mount that does not have fluid in it. Part number 25847739. It does not show up when the parts guy looks up a mount so I can't blame them but the service dept. should have access to it. We have replaced almost every left side mount in the fleet with these and had zero failures. Police drive these things far harder than probably any of you and no failures. Just ask the parts dept. to order this number.

This is a blessing! I am looking into this!

If you ask the counter guy to look at the engineering notes attached to that part number he will read to you that it is a recommended replacement of the hydraulic mount with a regular rubber mount for police vehicles. They are no different in mounting or fitment only durability.

If that mount fits, there needs to be a whole shitload of sharing of this info because this problem has been going on for many years on all the forums and this is the first I've heard of it. Somebody please get one of these mounts and compare to one of their failed ones to see if it will fit. I don't even own one of the trucks affected and I'm all excited.

that part number comes up as a "right" side mount, does it also fit the left?
