Good Afternoon All,
I just discovered this form and I am writing to introduce myself and seek your assistance regarding a problem I've been experiencing with my 2017 Chevy Tahoe Premier. and has 92K. I value the expertise and camaraderie that this community offers, and I trust that together we can find a solution.
Firstly, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Juan Cano, and I have been a proud owner of a Chevy Tahoe for several years. Throughout this time, my Tahoe has been a reliable companion, However, recently, I have encountered an issue that has left me puzzled and seeking guidance from fellow enthusiasts.
The problem I am facing involves engine problem. Despite my best efforts to troubleshoot and research potential solutions, I have been unable to rectify the issue on my own. Therefore, I turn to this community for your insights and suggestions.
last week i drove to the airport to go out of town for business', on the way there the engine light came on and stated a message "engine power is reduced" and truck started staying in low RPM and started to blow white smoke. i pulled over and had the tahoe towed back to my place. I kindly request your support and advice in addressing the problem with my Chevy Tahoe. Whether you have encountered a similar issue in the past or possess technical knowledge that could be relevant, your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
In order to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the situation, below are some more details and troubleshoots i have taken.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. I eagerly await your response and look forward to engaging in fruitful discussions with all of you. If you require any further information or clarifications, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
Thank you all in advance for your time and effort,
Juan Cano

- when the truck was towed, back to the garage and when we try to unload it, the battery was dead, well we try to jump it just to turn it on to put it in the garage. and no luck. i went to go buy a new battery and replaced it, turns on now, no hard idling anymore or engine light anymore, however, white smoke and smell of like gasoline. i turned it off but now i have no engine light on to review codes. has no leaks or engine small smoke where they might be leaks. i am tight on $$ and would like to have someone trustworthy in Houston,Tx to look or feedback from all to see what other steps i can take, for sure i can take pictures later or tomorrow morning. i would like to avoid troubleshoots at the shops to avoid large cost.
