I had my oil changed on Saturday at the dealership with a multipoint inspection on my 2008 Yukon Denali. I drove 2 hours, stopped for about 2 hours and after 30 min of driving I heard a flapping or light ticking for about 10 seconds and then a very loud knocking, pulled over and called a tow truck. After 3 hours the dipstick registered no oil, but today after being towed to the dealership, the dipstick is registering full oil. Could there be some issue relayed to the oil change or just coincidence? Could it be because of the wrong oil or oil filter?
