Okay so I took off both sensors, pulled the srs fuse.. cleaned both sensor they both look fine. And still getting this cideScreenshot_20211203-093409.png

New sensors, did I read that right? What brand?

Need a less generic scanner on it, like a Tech 2, which will better indicated the nature of the fault. Could be a wiring issue, bad or incompatible sensor, etc.

Be sure to save your old sensors; you'll want to match the part number for new sensors. Best to use OE for these replacements.

it's probably a short as I explained previously

B0084 code possible causes​


  • Faulty Front End Sensor 2
  • Front End Sensor 2 harness is open or shorted
  • Front End Sensor 2 circuit poor electrical connection
  • Faulty Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM)

I check the wiring it all looks fine but I might need to pull it all out.


Or just get a better scanner to pin point the issues.

The code is most likely pin point to the passenger front side correct? Not driver side

ya right side, you may want to put a meter on the harness and see what it reads, this video "may" be helpful
KEEP IN MIND YOUR MESSING WITH THE AIRBAG SYSTEM, A MISTAKE CAN BE EXPENSIVE
