I have a 2008 GMC Yukon SLT 5.3L V8 flex fuel with a rod knock and a blown head gasket. I was wondering if i can put the motor from a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LS 5.3L V8 into my 2008 GMC Yukon. The only thing is i dont know if the engine from the tahoe is flex fuel or not. Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

Whether or not it is, it will be flexfuel once you install it in your Yukon, so long as you keep all YOUR flexfuel stuff or replace with new flexfuel stuff.
You MIGHT not even need to reprogram, apart from CrankShaft Angle Sensor Error ReLearn.
