so i want to order hedders for the caddy and was going to get some lpp's with the y-pipe because they are gorgeous and would connect to the muffler and could put them on at home, but didn't want to part with 500 clams! however i think these are great for the money. so i was just about to go with these when someone else posted an ebay link to some speed-daddy hedders with 1-3/4 primaries! with y-pipe(fake cat style) for $300! great find. the primaries do appear to look bigger than all the other ''cheap'' stainless lt's that ive seen for sale on ebay or anywhere for that matter. So this brings me to my question : how come they dont list any for an escalade? I am 99.9% absolutely sure they will fit with no issues but figured id ask you guys your thoughts.

The y-pipe is different so you'd have to get a muffler shop to modify the exhaust/build you a new system. $500 isn't shit for a quality set of headers, you get what you pay for and the LPPs are the best value hands down unless you find a set of used ones like I did with my AEMs. With an off road y-pipe you are going to have to get a tune if you want the check engine light to stay off.

I'm actually a 5.3 2wd caddy (poor mans escalade). and ive looked under the truck and my cats and y-pipe look the same as whats pictured in the ad. Ive seen the 6.0's have differnt exhaust back to the muffler. And i couldn't agree more on the quality/price of the lpp's however $200 saved is $200 to put towards e-fans. And i here you on the tune, that's why all the dumb questions are coming out now lol. just trying to plan ahead and do a couple of things at once with the tune.

ya know i cant believe i didn't think of the whole ''6.0'' thing. now that im thinking of the ad they also dont list denali's or 3/4 ton burbs or 3/4 ton xl's. (aren't all denali's 6.0 awd?) thanks for reminding me that.

If you get the single exit y-pipe just get a catback or factory pipe from a 5.3 hoe/burb/kon just whatever shoot even a 5.3 truck...
