Escalade mirrors installed.

Man, you guys are digging up some old threads! Is Zach still on here?

The Esky mirrors have the chrome integrated into the bottom of the mirror, and the chrome also continues into the truck-side portion of the mirror's pivot. The stick on chrome just goes to the pivot on the mirror side, and doesn't continue from there.

Personally, I had the stick on lower chrome (before my mirror got torn off), and I liked it. I thought it looked great. The Esky mirrors obviously provide the look without anything being stuck on -- but they can be expensive.

do the led turn signals and the blind spot thing work? was everything plug n play?

If you have all the features aside from blind zone alert, the mirrors will be plug and play. Zach told me the 09+ esky mirrors with blind zone alert have sensors on the mirror itself AND external sensors. He uses it without the external sensors and it still was functional.

hey zach why not go with chrome caps on the bottom? Or is it more cosmetic to go with escalade side mirrors?

Because stick on chrome is not cool... You can see where the chrome overlay just sits on top of the actual mirror since it doesn't replace the lower and just sticks on with 3M tape. I had chrome lowers and decided to upgrade to the real thing.
