Matt, thanks for the info. Will order them today. Any tips on taking the "caps" off?
This is a great thread and I look forward to eliminating the blind spot. Came close twice to pulling into a car I didn't see. I have the mirrors turned out as far as they will go but it won't eliminate the blind spot. Blind spot warning light not to be trusted.......
Here’s a video that @pgamboa did.
I realize he’s working on a truck mirror, but the concept is the same. I believe the mirror cover clips are in the same place on the Escalade caps. Just spaced out a little since it’s a larger cap.

Look great. Did you have to replace any door clips?Installed mine yesterday evening. Plug and play. Took about 1hr per side, but I took my time. Thanks for everyone’s help!!

I actually didn’t. There were a few on pass side that part of the top clip broke off. I rotated and re-used.
I would say when I change door speakers I probably will have to change some clips at that time.
Best chance of success is pulling deliberately and somewhat quickly. I was able to start at the panel nearest the hinges and work my way around. Seemed to go best.
One other thing-the upper door trim needs to come off as well. When installing make sure you get the weatherstripping back right—it goes over the trim piece.
It is not hard, and makes more sense when you do it.
