Put them in a box on shelf in the garage.

I need to get mine off the shelf and sell them along with my OE headlights, grille, intake manifold, throttle body, etc. lol

please pardon me for bringing this thread back from the dead. I just purchased a 2018 Tahoe and like countless others I am very unhappy with the size of the mirrors.
I have read this thread numerous times and cant find the answer to my question , maybe I missed it.
if I have a Tahoe now that does not have any options on my existing small mirrors like puddle lights , power folding, heated, blind spot warning etc will connecting the escalade mirrors with an escalade door wiring harness and a new switch control panel give me any of these options.
thank you

Most likely, no. Many times those circuits are missing from the body side of the door connector. I can make a harness that will add those options. You may not need to replace the door harnesses. I need to see pics of the ends of your door connectors to verify which terminals are present.

Here’s how to get at them (ignore the writing). PM me with the info.

Would there be any interest if I offered a wire harness solution to getting DL3 & Esky mirror features to work for those that don’t have them?

Now that's it's been almost a year with the Esky mirrors on my Tahoe, I'm finding myself wanting to get the power fold and turn signals to work. From scrolling through this thread, I see that the wiring will need to be worked and that I'll need a new switch for the door.

Any chance you can give a step-by-step (in baby terms) on how to do this?

To get both those options to work, you’ll need to swap door harnesses with ones I make, add a harness inside the cabin and swap in the correct power fold switch.

Basically, it grabs those missing circuits from the BCM, X61A junction block, etc. and brings them to the doors. Then carries them to the mirrors.

I hope that answers your question. I am working on an install video showing what’s involved in landing the terminated wires and swapping the door harnesses.
