Leaving the airport my old lady hit one of those poles paying for the parking fee right on the driver side mirror. Thats the second time she'***** a non moving object in the Esky this year...

Felix, did you really just call your wife, who I'll assume is not 80+, your "old lady"? Hahaha

They weren't perfect, a couple of tiny scratches on the chrome and the glass, the caps were good. For $350 I was actually happy to deal with that especially since finding the newer version with the solid arrow and blind zone alert in White Diamond, is not easy.

Plus I learned something when I did this conversion on my previous truck: Bank drive through marking poles are *******! They leap at you out of nowhere and attack your mirrors. It's true! Also drivers in DC can't judge their car's dimension on a two way street worth of shit. Basically they don't stay perfect for long.

Thank you sir. :Handshake:
Thank you sir. Now another variable - blind spot notification. Will that work by just replacing the mirrors alone? Is that a plug and play feature escentially?

Oh great, never thought about those mirror eating poles. Hopefully my wife got that out of her system with the 05'. A couple black streaks on the garage and some yellow stripes on the mirrors. Got lucky one time, she clipped a pole and the whole assembly popped off and I was fortunate that the c-clip failed and was able to be popped back on. Nothing like coming home and your mirrors hanging there.

So, I shouldn't call my 40 year old wife my old lady? Maybe its a generational thing. :lol2:

Well, I'm gonna practice some patience here and cancel the appointment and get what I want the first time. Doing shit twice is expensive I've learned

Won't work, it needs sensors you do not have.

Quick question, why is the driver mirror being replaced? Mine are working really, really slowly on both sides, wonder if my dealership would do the upgrade for me??? Hmmm

Mirror does not adjust left to right. After talking to them today and ordering a couple more parts under warranty (drivers seat adjuster and door handle, now replacing both parts on both sides) service writer said he would see what he can do for passenger side mirror. May have found a dealership I like.:party33:

Awesome, looking forward to this rack. Hopefully by the end of the month I can grab a set. I will need to get the cross rails too, actually use the rack for a pod. Traveling with 3 teenage hockey players can get kinda funky.

Thanks again.

I think it IS partly a generational thing -- it's just that I thought that generation was all but dead. haha

You never do get used to the smell of a hockey bag... Just awful. I can barely make it to the rink and back with mine in the truck. Keeping the windows down helps a little, but that's not a great solution in the winter time.
