Dirk,

What kind of paint do you use and how much would this normally cost?

I took all my stuff into the shop today (tails, apps, and third light and housing) getting everything smoked and painted. It was going to be $300 for everything. I then asked about what type of warranty they offer. I was told if i wanted a lifetime using PPG paint, color -matched it was going to be $450.

Sorry, didn't even see this. We use PPG. I don't guarantee anything tho. Never really hear of a shop guaranteeing some appliques, etc. But I guess anything to jack the price up, i dunno?

$300 for everything isn't horrible.
