Up to how much ethanol do you allow to be put in your ride? I see most pumps say "Up to 10% Ethanal"....read my wifes new Nissan booklet, and it said anything as long as it's under 15%. What do you all see around your city?

I think 10% is as high as they can go. But I could be wrong. I know thats the highest I have seen.

My Denali is flex-fuel so 85% is okay with me. Most pumps around here say 10% or less. I haven't seen an ethanol pump yet.

my buddy converted his street/race Mustang from gas to E85, picked up 4/10ths to 1/2 second alone. Nice to drive it on the street and use E85. Head to track, run some 9.90's :D

Yea, most are 10% aroound here.

we've had like 5 brand new Nissan cars. LOVE them. First 3 were Altimas, then in 2005 I bought a new Maxima. man those cars are fast. But needs 91 octane, and get's about 18 MPG and high insurance even for my old rear. So we had it until March 2008, and traded it in with only 22,000 miles. Got a 2008 Altima with the CVT transmission. Awesome car!
insurance cut in half, lower payments, and gas mileage can be as high as 28-32 on highway. IMHO the 4 cylinder is more than enough, and runs on 87 octane.
Go for the Altima, you'll love it!

yea, and insurance is huge on the Maxima, even if you have great standings, about double what an Altima is.
Add the good wheels on the Altima, you have a Maxima pretty much. (other than smaller motor)
