Hey guys, just made the switch from tahoeforum- Ok all shrinkage jokes aside... My manifold shrank! I took it off today to change the donut gasket and now I cant get it back on. The drivers side manifold does not need removal but the passenger side does. So I put the Tahoe in the garage and let it cool for several hours. Cool to the touch, I removed the manifold, inserted to new donut, and now I cant get the manifold back on. I can get the middle two and either the left or right set on- not both. The bolts do not line up when I get to the end! Any suggestions?!

Take all the bolts out, and loosely put in the one in the front, I'm talking like half a thread. Then do the far back one. Then do the two middles and then the other two. It's been a while since I've dealt with exhaust manifolds but that was the way I always did them and it usually worked OK for me.
