Do they have an air filter gauge now besides oil life? That "gauge" in the DIC is for the engine air filter. Cabin air filter is different and should be replaced as needed.

Yes, but as far as I can tell it's strictly based on time. My Yukon XL had 5mi on it when I took delivery a month ago. It was built in May of '22. Air filter life was ~ 90% IIRC. The salesman reset it back to 100% while he was explaining all the functions in the DIC.Do they have an air filter gauge now besides oil life?
You still need to wash and oil it, and spray your MAF sensor out with CRC MAF cleaner to remove the oily residue.Ahhh. That is the engine air filter. Which doesn’t matter because I have the KN cold air intake. So it is completely different.
I wouldn't want one with a MAF sensor, personally. I had a drop-in K&N panel filter in my 1995 Jeep which had no MAF. Not worth it. I was 17 and was excited to try new things for horsepower improvements before I realized it was all snake oil.Thank you for that info too. Honestly feel like the kn is more trouble than it’s worth
I don't believe the "cold air" intake would create a drone in the exhaust.Yea the whole cold air intake and exhaust was a complete waste. It was part of the package for the lot vehicle. I actually asked if they could keep it since they didn’t have the parts yet. They said no. It changed absolutely nothing except now I have exhaust drone at 50 - 60 mph
Cold air intake AND exhaust meaning both were probably dealer installed markups that were non-negotiable because COVID and inflation as indicated by OP.I don't believe the "cold air" intake would create a drone in the exhaust.
This. I have the cold air performance intake and the exhaust installed by the dealer. They are a waste of money.Cold air intake AND exhaust meaning both were probably dealer installed markups that were non-negotiable because COVID and inflation as indicated by OP.
