You'd barely, if at all, notice the difference in sound with just a resonator delete. The good thing about this is that you can use whatever tip configuration you want and won't have to worry about it being loud and/or sounding bad. Changing the muffler is what will really affect the sound.

deleting the resonator and adding the dual tip looks better and has a slightly lower sound only. I was hoping for a significantly lower sound. did not happen.
BTW, we tried to add another tailpipe off the existing muffler to the drivers side,
impossible!!!!!

Did you have a muffler shop do the delete or did you find a kit for it?
