So I just picked up my Tahoe last wee k and the exhaust is shot. The muffler is trashed but the h pipe is still there and so is the tail pipe. I need to know what is available for me to do. I have a gibson muffler but its a 3" single inlet and outlet. Any ever use a y pipe or know where I can get one?

If you have the funds IMO I'd just do it all while its gonna get work anyways. Get some long tube headers and use what you can and get new where you can't. Will love it. I'm sourcing pipe so when I have time to do my long tubes

I don't have the funding. This is just a winter truck for now and I need the exhaust fixed for now.

I would agree single 3" should be just fine. So 2 pipes to one, use the muffler you have.

I have the h pipe that goes into the stock muffler. I thought it was two 2inch pipes.

I ended up doing dual glasspacks with dual exits behind the rear wheel.
