Factory class IV hitch?

The hitch sticker shows 1,000 tongue and 10,000 towing which are class 4 levels.

Did these come with class 4 with max tow?

I have a 2017 Yukon XL Denali. My hitch has the same part number as yours has. My max tow for the truck is 7,900 because of the XL and 4x4. I would have thought that the longer wheelbase, larger engine and transmission would up the rating. Apparently the brakes and the suspension is the limiting factor. I do like the 1,000# tongue rating, sometimes RVs can get nose heavy and roads get bumpy. I am glad I took the cover off to see the hitch. There has never been a receiver in the hitch. There will be one in there tomorrow.

This is the universal hitch GM used regardless of capacity.

You can get another sticker that shows 1,100 pound tongue weight and another which increases the max too! LOL
