Factory flip down monitor in 05 Tahoe

I have the panasonic flip down that came with the tahoe and it keeps giving me some kind of disc format error. then it spits the disc out. Anyone know what the problem is or does it need to be replaced.

It sounds busted, you can easily get one on eBay or craigslist for less then $150.00 and it's a easy swap out that can be done in 20-30 mins
