Factory honeycomb grille inserts

Does anyone know where to find the factory honeycomb grille inserts? I just picked up a paintable RST grille for my wife’s 16 suburban and want to swap the RST inserts for the honeycomb style so I can more effectively run a light bar behind the grille.

is your rst the straight bar grille with black inserts ???

i am looking for the black inserts from the Z71....single bar top row. not dual bar top from the premium.

Yes it’s the rst with black inserts, single bar on the top and 2 bars on the bottom. I might see how it works out for me, I have a spare baja designs 20” onx6 hi power laying around to use on the suburban. It’s a hefty bar with 1 5/8” reflectors and the opening between the grill bars is 1 1/8” so I’d be blocking about 1/2” of reflector. Not that it matters a whole lot since the bar sits back from the grill a ways.

You and everyone else are looking for the same thing, they’re not easy to find. I mainly wanted the shell to color match but the rst inserts do look nice, I’m just not sure they’re work well for what I’m after. The honeycomb style would definitely let more light through. I was more looking for new factory ones not used, it’s always a crapshoot buying vehicle plastics especially grill related. I’m located in central PA.
