I just noticed the orange LED strip on the drives side head light is out. No warning lights on inside. How do you replace them? More importantly why are they out? Truck is 2010 wtf?

I'm guessing you need a new headlight... I don't think they are replaceable in the Esky OEM headlight. Sylvania doesn't show a replacement bulb for it..

If you look at this pic, there's nothing to replace or no opening to even get to them...

Maybe it is a connection. I can't see the whole LED strip going out at once.

I didnt think of that but I sure hope it is, I cannot imagine having to buy a entire housing.....

How do you remove the housing?

I see what you mean but I sure hope you are wrong! ;) That assembly must be 1K+

I just went to headlights r us site and they want 1260!!! Holy shit! Oh well, guess this will be on my list when I bring my truck back on saturday for the nav to be swapped out and the headrest dvd replaced. I am just worried when the dealer has a 5K tab they might give me my money back. Who knows! Should be interesting...

I had a buddy who had one of the LEDs out and the dealer replaced the headlight free of charge.

Dealer wont replace a single LED, they will replace the entire lamp assembly. Hopefully youre under warranty. If not, its time to open up the headlight and attempt yourself. Or spend some good money.

This falls under 3 year 36000 Miles Bumper to Bumper. If you have an extended warranty, it may cover it. Its a shady area becuase its technically a bulb, which usually arent covered, but its an LED that cant be replaced individually, so an extended warranty may or may not cover the cost of a new light assembly.
