Na it's a double din like that minus the CD player has a tape deck in it, shopped around a good double din HU is around 200ish then all the harnesses was around 100ish I need a couple, one for to keep the steering wheel buttons, antenna adapter, etc. I'm just trying to get something factory because if I get something else I have that CD changer in the dash pocket but they make no delete pocket so figured I'd try keeping it useable and just add this

I deleted my 6 disc changer in my Denali and replaced it with a pocket, I have pictures of how I did it in my build thread. The pocket slides right in , in place of the changer.

That looks great I think I'll go that route

Wow I wish I'd known about that before I upgraded my HU to a non-factory one. Oh, well, at least my new one has BT and iPod controls but that's a nice solution for a factory look. Should be a super easy install, too, just pull the old one out and bolt that one in.

Ditto for me. I had a nice JVC unit in my old Suburban that was totaled, I wanted to put it in my Yukon with the factory steering wheel controls. I paid $14 for a mount, $12 for a wiring harness, and $50 for an Axxess adapter for the steering wheel retention. But after having Bluetooth with the JVC, I HAD to have it, even though the factory system sounded adequate. There's "enough" bass with the factory system, but with the JVC unit, I can tweak the high-pass to about 80 hz for the factory stuff, and send all the serious low end to my subs (when I finally get them in).
