I've got a 2003 GMC Yukon with Bose. The factory sub is located under the center console, not the cargo compartment. Is there anyway to disconnect the factory sub without the disabling the whole Bose system? Cutting the wires somewhere? My factory sub is blown and sounds terrible, I have new subs on the way. Anyone else done this or know an easier way to disconnect without removing the whole center console?

I believe you can unplug it by removing just the top cubby holes of the console.

I've tried looking there and I'll I see is a whole bundle of wires. If I unplug that, the whole system will go off.
