PLEASE make sure that you give an update after getting the truck back. I'd really appreciate it.

Quick update. After 2 days at the dealer I got the car back. Still not fixed - parts on order.

What they told me is that TRANSMISSION CASE has a little bit of "play". I dont know what that means and I dont know what is the transmission case. Maybe the bell housing that hold TC, maybe the entire body that holds all the gears. Im a little confused. Guy was rushing to get me off the phone so I couldnt ask.

They told me to come back in January once they get the part in to the parts dept.
Noise I get is the same when shifting from D to R. Its like a quiet pop where there should be non. It kind of feel like engine mount going bad or ujoint.

Lets hope they fix this. Maybe someone can shine some light on what the "transmission case" is. - NO its not the transfer case - they said transmission case so Im assuming entire transmission housing. Why wouldnt they just get all new tranny. They will not play changing mechanism and gears. HMMMM

No idea what the "transmission case" is if it's not the "transfer case." I'd also say that you got the run-around. Geez.

Please keep us posted. I'd be interested to see the list of parts they ordered, if they "flashed" anything, and if there was any kind of TSB on the whole thing.
