I'm new here but not to forums - these 2 PDF's should help. The 'Smooth road shake' is the updated version and what they did to my car (after 22K mi.!!).

I posted the wrong one... There's a 3rd one that references the Steering Bushings. I had them replaced in my Tahoe and it helped. Some are not so lucky. I'll look for it and get it posted here. Sorry for the Mix-Up

I had the same issue on my 2016 Denali I just bought. The dealer performed 2 software upgrades and resolved the problem. Have only put on 1500 miles since fix.

Mine would do it as it shifted gears if I wasn’t accelerating quickly. So between 35-45 it would vibrate but it would also be shifting through 2 or 3 gears and would do it again at 55 which I imagine is when it shifts to 8th. After 55 it was smooth, and if I was driving quickly it wouldn’t shudder. Mine is currently at the dealer, and I have a 2018 escalade premium to drive around in while they work on my 2017 escalade esv. I’m in no rush to get it back, right now I’m enjoying putting miles on their car lol.

Btw the new 10 speed, though quicker at shifting, it still has its quirks and would imagine it going bad quickly too. I’ve noticed some hard shifts as I was slowing down for a red light and it’s only been 2 days. My 17 has 31k miles and it was super smooth until about a week ago

So I still have my Denali for one more month and am using it for odd and end jobs.
The thing I noticed over the post several months, which is getting predominantly worse, is it feels like I am driving over rumble strips. Like the ones they have in the middle of the road to keep you from crossing the yellow line.

I know it is not the AFM, because it did it during my TCM tune with AFM turned off. And it does it when in manual 7 mode now without the tune.

Could this be the driveshaft vibration I have read about? I would hate for the tranny to go down right before lease end. However with the powertrain warranty, I am assuming this wouldn't be my problem if it did. ???
Have you taken it to the dealer yet with all this information and have them do anything? I’m very curious to hear what gets done and if it helps. Thanks for sharing.

I think he stated in an earlier post that he was done with it and would be turning it back in.

I'm turning it back in this Friday.
It has gotten worse as time goes on.
It almost feels like it could be the DOD cam but it does go into 4 cylinder mode.
Who knows. I'll update once they come back to me with the final inspection papers.

I just got mine back, they flushed the transmission and reprogram. I took it on a 700 mile round trip, zero issues so far
