If it was me, I'd think about maybe just either leaving the "vents" on until you are ready to do the project completely or taking it off and doing everything it'll take to get it ready for paint (if you plan on doing the body work part yourself) and just rolling like that until you're able to drop it off for paint. No need to take off one thing you don't like just to apply something that else that is probably worse.

You are right. I used to be ok with them on there, but I made up my mind that I don't like them and now they are bugging me.

I hear ya man. I wouldn't like them either and would be real antsy to get them off! :) If it was me I'd get a quote from a shop first and go from there. You may be surprised and get a pretty decent quote.

If anyone wants fender vents, just go down to your local ghetto parts store or big wheel shop and they will have plenty to choose from.

Like I said in my over posts, I do not care for them and want them gone, just have not put any funds towards having them removed yet.

I would highly suggest anyone wanting them to just buy a car that has them from the factory; they look better that way and might actually be functional.
