would 55 watt hid's be to hot for my foglight housing?
if so i'll do a 6000-8000k 35watt in the fogs

Ya these things are HOTTTT I can stand in front of my headlights and feel the heat if i would ever do hids in my fogs i would go 35 watt just to avoid the hassle.

It was mainly the one shot against the side of the house that makes it look like they are too high. You can't tell from pics of the front because they are so bright cameras have a hard time taking accurate pictures. But, at least with mine, I get flashed unless I have them just below a standard door-knob height. Hard to tell if you're on level ground, too...if you're tilting up even just a little bit, it'll throw things off.

But yeah, don't worry about it unless you get flashed a lot. Like I said, it looks sick!

FWIW: I have 55w in my fogs and have had no issues in six months. But, it's also been cold out. That could change with the warmer temps if I run them much. Luckily, it's light all the time here in the summer, so I probably will barely use them until August/Sept.

Well on my garage its about where the handle is. I never thought of my drive way beeing un-level. My driveway is horrible. It is in no way level.

You also have real reflector fogs. Not plastic boxes with a light bulb in it like the Tahoes. ;) That helps a LOT with heat issues.

True enough. I wouldn't run 55's in those little rectangles they call lights on the Tahoes....

Is that the stock Yukon housing or did the kit come with new reflectors?
