The reason the front wheels stick out farther is because GM makes their rear axles like 1-2 inches narrower, they do it because its supposed to track better with that setup but idk.

Ok, good info.

In the park today I saw a guy in a 98 wearing 40's all the way around and the rear extended about the where I would want it, gonna pull the trigger on the used 40's.

why not just get some spacers to push the rears out?

Something for me to look into for the spring. I might wanna wear 40's all the way round then. If so I'll only need 2 more. Two of the ones I have now aren't ready for a 600 mile @ way trip next week and I can't lay out the bread for a set right now. The 2 40's match mine and it's a good deal and peace of mind. Hitting a car show in South Carolina for Labor Day.

Indeed... spent another 40 on lugs but still less than 450 for a set of 22's.

I have a feeling my OCD is gona kick in on that tire situation! I NEED for the back to extend past the body too...LOL Looking at a pair of used 40 series Toyo's. I'm gonna try and scape up the doughs and try 'em out. Plan on getting new rubber for the spring so fugg it.
