It came w/one if it's the same one he was looking at, but it's not working. I think he wants to replace it with a functional one.

I say go aftermarket if you're replacing any of the sound equipment.

yes, I as well say replace the head unit...if your going to spend the money on a 6 disc, you might as well just upgrade the head unit to a better navigation with DVD play and maps on the hard drive..IMO

The HHR is the rental that I used to get there.

How much should I expect to spend for a decent aftermarket stereo/ nav? I thought that the speakers sounded pretty decent so those could do for now. The first thing I'm doing is some interior detailing, fix rear shocks and tint the front windows. I'll probably lower in the spring and bolt on the bling as well. I can't go crazy with it right now because I just bought a Z71 last week that I don't need now and I still have to order a set of winter wheels for the CTS.

Anyone need a white GMC Ext Cab Z71?? lol

Do you know where I can get that center console trim piece? Mine is starting to peel around the edges and a little on the lids.

1996 GMC Ext Cab SLE. It's white with chrome on the bottom. Pretty good looking truck really. I just bought it last week thinking I needed a 4x4 because of weather and then we got the Denali.

That ugly antenna on the side is for On-Star? I want to take it off.
