anyone know the math on how much shorter top to bottom a 255/30 would be vs a 295/35 ?

In most applications if the tire were 2 inches shorter you would only get one inch of drop.. but since im locked into the fenders i would get the whole 2 inches... 1 from the bottom and one from the trucks ability to fall closer to the rim..

AND.. i can still get a little out of the front by flipping my fuse box sideways and replacing the overflow cannister..

That is about all i can do now without tubbing and if i tub it i might as well body drop it

But and extra 2 or 3 inches would be ALOT right now.. so im thinking of doing the smaller tires if it will make that much difference.

found it... its 32.13 inches total for my tires now and 30.02 for the 255/30s

Would drop me 2 1/4 inches maybe a 1/4 inch more more based on width clearance.

That sounds worth it to me!!!

$600 for nexxens brand new on the truck 255/30/24s and it will drop me at least 2.15 inches ... i think its gonna be more like 3

don't do it 255-30 are to small and they wont fit on a 24x10 wheel Go 275-30-24 thats what I am running with my 24x10 rim. I put on a set of Kuhmos and love them and I am sitting a whole lot lower to, but I went from a 295-35-24

I went from a 295-35-24 32.25 tall tire to a 30.5 275-30-24 tall tire....

those aint to bad. they look better than any other ones ive seen. they go good with that long ass platnium 3 front bumper or whatever it is. or i guess in your sake the stock bumper with the lip.

and yea now that i think about it the hd hood would be nice but i think you make up for it by sitting on the ground. i also think i still like the chrome stuff on the truck because it matches the lights and the rims but i do think a shaved gate with esky tbl would look nice. and i was looking at your pictures the other day and realizing how big the tires are. i think it may look a little better with smaller tires like your wanting. theyre just going to be narrow.

yea i was thinking i had 295/30 but they are 295/35 which is even taller than a 305/30... soo im gonna try a 275/30.. should give me 2 more inches maybe 3..

Any ideas on the grill? Dont know why people think it looks stock but i hate that anyone does.

i do wanna kill the last of the chrome but the rear bumper had to go first so now that thats done i think a street scene front bumper and maybe a clean set of skirts if i can find some that dont look ricey and shave the rear gate...

when i get back from mexico im buying a cts for a daily driver for her and then i might decided to just body drop the damn thing.

looks sick, couldnt have anything that low up here tho with the terrible new england roads,
the only negative ive heard about street scene bumpers is that they have a "street scene " logo stamped into the plastic and that its a pain to cover over it and have it look nonexistent and sumtimes they bumper itself isnt exactly even on both sides. might want to look into "certifit" or sumthing like that if there is one near by, cheaper too
