I know those projectors very well, i used to have a pair to retrofit at some point. They're metal so you should be fine heat wise. I also think these bulbs are perfect for this application.

Thanks for the info Serge. They have been purchased and I will update when they arrive. I have very high hopes as I have bought LEDs for fogs before an there was no useable forward light.

I have zXe Sylvania bulbs that I am happy with currently.

It is a visually brighter and whiter light.

Hey I've bought plenty of junk before, I won't blame you. Just add it to the pile in my garage!

And yes, pics will come :)

Derek, the only thing I can think of that might impede the light is the built cutoff shield inside the projector. Try it as it is first and if you're disappointed with the output you can always try to remove it. But I remember when I had them in hand sticking a powerful led flashlight through the bulb hole and the output coming out the front was very good. This bulb should have the same effect. Can't wait to see it, cause a bunch of GM vehicles share that fog lamp, it could be a good mod for all of them. Or it could be god awful. :)

lol, you're not helping by raising Derek's expectations when I'm trying to get them to their lowest possible level. Sheesh! :)
