truck looks great!!!

i was wondering about doing headers on mine. the stock esky cat back is 3.5 inches so i put in the 3.5 inch maganflow a lot of these aftermarket companies use 3 inch pipes which is smaller than stock and pulled the resonator out.

thx tony

yeah i heard the catback is 3.5, the headers and ypipe alone along with a different muffler and resonator delete would work fine, but i love the look and sound of the corsa sport cat back, and from my experience 3.5 inch and up exhaust diameters are only needed in high high HP applications, and especially turbo applications

for my purposes opening up the stock exhaust manifolds, and y pipe will be of great benefit, and cutting the cat back down to 3 inches to match the y pipe, will likely not rob any power from the stock 3.5 tubing, also the biggest restriction in the stock exhaust, the muffler has been rremoved, so i think overall its ok.

cant wait to get it tuned, right now its untuned

we dynoed a stock 6.2 and going to a magnaflow muffler swap and res delete gained 8hp and then he put a corsa 2 days later went back to dyno and lost 5hp. He even said felt slower vs just swapping out stock muffler to the magnaflow. Thats why I did it on mine (put up a video) with a whipple 2.9 and long tubes im hoping still that the esky isn't to loud.

Im going to take a video of mine in the next few days. has gotten louder but nothing bad.

Love the way you just installed everything in one shot... Or at least that is what I understood. The difference from stock to the current setup must be night and day. I just had my truck tuned and Im more than pleased with the results. Let us know how it goes for you. All your rides a A++
