First time Towing with the XL

this is the radiator, it's cheaper to get from a distributor than direct.

I had to make minor modifications to the mounting bracket holes with a dremel tool to get the bolts lined up on top, then on the bottom I just lined up the brackets where I needed them and then cut them shorter, I also used standoffs behind the mounting bracket so nothing was rubbing, you may want to pick up some standoffs from the hardware store there not included with the kit. I forgot I also had to move the ambient temp sensor to the side on a bracket because it was telling me it was 150deg outside, you can see the standoffs and the sensor in this picture

I should have everything next week to install, I got lucky and B&M pan was at summit. I doubled checked the RPO and I dont have the KL5 package unfortunately.

I am hoping that the 40k cooler keeps the temps down in trans big time as its been 100 here all week and even normal driving has the trans temp around 170 to 180 with the ac on full blast.

once you have those installed you will see a significant drop, I am now concerned I might have to add the bypass in the cooler months but I'll see how it does.

the exhaust will likely have to be unbolted to get the pan on just a heads up. did you order the radiator?
