FNG from New Mexico

Hello Tahoe Yukon Forum. I have been reading on this forum for a while now and thought I should introduce myself to y'all. I live and work in Northern New Mexico and just bought my wife a new 2014 GMC Yukon XL.

I must admit that I am a Dodge guy but, Dodge does not make a vehicle that fits my family as well as the bigger GM products does. My wife is also a Dodge girl as well. I hope y'all wont hold that against us.

I am not new to GM products but, I am new to owning a GM product that is newer than the mid 90's.

My background in vehicle modifications has always been for extreme off road use. The Yukon XL is going to be a family vehicle first. Difficult for me to remember that.

Anyways, I hope I can do some more learning on this forum and maybe even offer some meager ideas as well. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of.this forum.

I dont know how many of y'all are into the four wheeling scene but, if you do a google search for Rock Ready Ramcharger you will find the article I wrote on one of my four wheeling trucks. I am curently building two more four wheeling trucks. One is a 1977 Dodge Power Wagon and the other is a 1975 GMC K25 pickup.
