Wiring sux! Good luck with the vette. Sometimes, what I've done in the past--if the harness is a pita to pull, I'd just cut off all the connectors, splice them onto new wire, run it where it needed to go, and be done with it.

EDIT--What are you doing with the vette? Sound system?

Pioneer double din
Pioneer 4 channel amp
JBL components front with tweeters in A pillars
JBL 6x9 2 way in rear
Bazooka 8" powered sub
and repair LED part of dash while apart. it intermittently goes blank

flush mounted usb/3.5mm outlet in dash

1badC4...... My ( late) friend held the closed course speed record in one of his 'Vettes.
A black C4... He did it at Talladega Speedway.
I don't remember the average speed... He had a Traco engine in it.

It was a beast !!

A pic of my friend's Black GS 80... He averaged 180mph at Taladega.....

The red one..... Years ago an old lady was selling her home in Burbank, Ca. She had an apartment above a garage. Back in 1976 an Army Vet suddenly moved away, without a trace. He left the "Chevrolet" in the garage, where it sat until the lady was selling her home and she wanted to get the car removed. ( 1988? )
A friend of his, told Him about a "Chevrolet" in a garage, and if he would check it out. He went there to his AMAZEMENT, IT WAS THIS "Chevrolet" covered in the garage. Original.... He felt bad....He only had $300.00 cash in his wallet. She sold him the car......
He cleaned it up.... kept it...
Of all people to get this garage find, it was him !!

If you're not the original owner, you could always verify RPO codes to make sure the pin is not already on. I THINK the code you are looking for is C85, (but if you really want to know, then you should check them all http://www.cadillacfaq.com/rpo/ ). Original owner could have hit something and had to replace, or didn't like them, whatever... More than likely they would have just left the harness and switch in place though. Still a chance it got damaged too, sold, or maybe they even wanted to swap it to their other vehicle. Just covering all possibilities.

According to my RPO list it's T96.

That’s what I would do. Simple job using an aftermarket switch.
I agree, i changed out my yukons Fogs for some 6in bars, the factory switch is more of a button and the lights will come off with your brights. Id run your hot from the fuse box accessory nice and easy then put in a 10amp fuse.
