I'm not clear on this.....I have an '05 Yukon XL with the rectangular fog lights....will DDM 35w HID bulbs fit without modifying the housing? Melting issues?

no there too long, will hit shields. only seem to fit denali and z71's

other thing u can do is replace the fogs with the 06 fogs and just cut the lower valance to make it fit i had that on my old truck it was a 01 chevy with 06 fogs and had alot more light in fogs...

i have 3k hid 24 watts in mine with the stupid smoked fog lights i want to sell for stock ones but yes mine touched the sheid also and have never had a problem

Has anyone tried mounting a KC or similar driving light in there? I love the output of my 150w spot beam daylighters on my truck, and I'm thinking a set of their 55w HID's in the denali would be ****.
