Well a few days ago it was raining pretty hard I had my fog lights on, on my 02 Yukon they didn't seem to give me an issue, but the next evening I hit the button to turn them on and nothing. The orange light on the dash next to the button does not even light up anymore. I thought maybe some moisture could be to blame and gave it a few days to dry, but still today bothered by it I unhooked everything and it all seemed to be dry. Checked all of the fusses that were listed fog lamps. I do not havea manual for my truck so I just read the fuse box covers. Could it be a different fuse? Or maybe my switch? If it is my switch, is there anyway to test it to be sure wheater not the switch Is working correctly. If anything where should I start next it determine the issue? Could really use some help bothering the crap out of me.

Are you sure your headlights are on instead of your DRL's? Sometimes the sensor for the headlights can go bad, try turning the headlights on manually at the switch and see if the fog lights work! Just an idea!

I have had the same problem. Checked wiring, replaced switch etc. The only way i can get them on is with a scanner, but everything checks out good.

I tried them with the headlight switch on aswell. Still nothing. Yesterday I was trying to chase down the problem figured it may be a wiring thing. Once I opened my hood I hit the fog light button a few times I can hear a small clicking noise which would leave me to believe my switch is still good right? But what else does that leave? I am going to replace the fuse Monday. But the fuse is maybe a yr old. Hopefully something simple doesn't turn into a big deal.
