I require some assistance from the great people here on the forum.
Ive been searching the web for a replacement fog light set that has a glass lens that will also fit a HID bulb. So far the ones I have found come from reputable companies such as PIAA and HELLA, but the catch seems to be either size, lens, or price.
If the lens is glass the size is for an off road driving light either 6 inches or greater.
If the size is right and the lens is glass, it either has a dedicated wired bulb or the lens is striated.
I did find a HID kit from PIAA but I cannot justify spending 900 dollars on it unless I were creating a retro for my fogs which, Im not.
At the moment I am running a custom BIxenon retro for my main beams. My truck was recently involved in a minor front end collision that ended up scratching the lens on the drivers headlight. As a result, I will be building a new quad BIxenon set up hopefully during the winter months. I want more light on the foreground and to fill up the empty circular holes in the front bumper.
Am I just better off buying the cheap plastic lens fogs and replacing them when the lens are burnt out?
I have the circular fog lights.
Any help is appreciated.
