kauai, hi
I really can not make up my mind. I want to know if any of you regretted not buying 26's?

I DON'T have 24"s (still have the factory 20"s), but want them. My buddy, who owns a wheel store, has 26"s on his Escalade. He has rubbing when he turns the wheel too much; but, he owns a wheels store (and sells wheels right off his truck), so the 26"s are great marketing, and he's willing to live with not turning too sharply/rubbing. I am NOT willing to live with those things.

Assuming the 24"s wouldn't rub like the 26"s, the choice is easy for me. Whereas the 26"s may look better, they're heavier, hurt braking, and can rub more.

I can't go on looks alone as far as wheels are concerned.

I you have the money I'd go Bigger. I love my 4's but it wasn't an option for me to get 6's, well at least not the some of the ones I wanted....just too pricey for my budget.

I was going to get sixxes... but then I decided on the 4's and planned to lower it.

i love the stance now.. 4's were the right choice.

NNBS need 6's tho.. 4's look like 10's

go with 6's.... if you have even had thoughts of going as big as 6's. you will regret it if you don't. At least I do. Thats the reason I am selling mine.

I ride 24's and to me they still look small on my Tahoe but it's practically a daily driver and I don't want them to rub so I'm happy. If I had the money and if it wasn't a daily driver, I would go with 6's. 6's are heavy though so it would be a good idea to upgrade your brake kit.

Here's a message from 1010tires.com when you use the tire size calculator upgrading to 6's.

Warning! When changing tire sizes, we recommend staying within 3% of the diameter of the original tire. Any more than this and you face the risk of brake failure.

Go 6's! I was in the same boat and went with 24's. Less than a year later I purchased 26's. You will have a little rubbing and some trimming to do but to me it's worth it. I drive mine everyday, yes, even in the rain and have had no issues :peace:
