76669 miles.

Washed her up today, then headed to the tint shop to remove the top strip and get 45% on the windshield.

Looks great without the strip and darkens up the rest of the truck that already had 5% all the way around.

Not totally blacked out, but blocking out the UV and less light is a winner.

Suburban is next.

I want to do this terribly, but i dont want to deal with fix it tickets. Wonder if i could get away with like 60% or something on the windshield.

I bet you could get away with 70% and maybe 60%. And depends on how dark the rest of your windows are and how picky your local LEO is. They are generally not too picky around. here unless it is a "by the way I pulled you over for your tail light ticket". Even 70% will net you some heat and UV reduction.

Took a run down to Chick-fil-A to grab some nuggets for my boy.

Some guy walked over as I was leaving the drive thru and asked if my truck was a Tahoe.

I said yes.

He replied with, “Boy that shit is whipped!” and walked back to his buddies.

Man, your 1-2 doesn't seem nearly as violent as mine. Maybe you just absorbed it well but I was expecting a bigger jump. My truck leaps forward when 2nd hits.

The rear lift gate glass handle was UV faded out, so I took it off and refreshed it. On that note, I have also contemplated deleting the handle a couple of times. It looks pretty smooth...and would complement that deleted rear wiper...hmmm....

Perhaps we have a few differences. 4.8 vs 5.3. Corvette servo. I have 3.23 gears.

My mother is disabled due to damage to one of her eyes and has a doctor's note to run the darkest tint she could get on her car. Florida has provisions for such.
