@Fosscore how is the replacement seat holding up? I know it's only been a few weeks but I want to order mine and just want to see how you feel about it and how is the color of the new one to the old one? Thanks in advance

@Pachanga02

The fit is great. Just as good as OEM. Watch that video I linked in the write up online to make it easier to figure out how it goes off/on with the electrical connections, clips and the fold over at the start when putting the new one on. The aluminum frame is pretty sharp so watch your fingers. It feels super soft to the touch and under bottom. I did not replace my foam as it was still in good shape.

The color matches very well with the back rest, if not a very slight touch darker, only because it has not had the years of UV damage. But not really noticeable except maybe to you. I only point that out because of how bad the old cover looked. I did a double take when I compared them. My truck has that new leather smell now too, which is pretty cool. Planning on getting new carpet after the summer as well.

I'd pull the trigger. Take you about 1 hour without interruptions to pull it off and reinstall it. Getting rid of that big ass tear and nasty color was so worth it. You know....the little things.

Have a good 4th weekend!!

Thanks man just what I needed to read. I think I'll order this week. I've gotten quotes for anywhere between $350-600 just to repair the leather not including the foam. Thanks again.

Got it today. How hard is it to take apart and install?

@Pachanga02

Excellent! I was wondering when it would come in.

Here is the video installation link I used from The Seat Shop for 03-06.

Not challenging at all. Look back on the previous page. I did a write up with some pictures. Along with the video, it takes you step-by-step. Just watch your fingers on the aluminum frame. It is sharp.

Should take you about 1 hour without interruptions. Let's see some pictures when you get it installed. Good luck.
