I found a Chevy key fob it looks the same as my 2015 key fob only difference is the emblems on the backs. Is there a way to program that Chevy key fob for my GMC so I can have an extra key fob

When you say found do you mean literally found or bought? If it’s for another rig I think the dealer can but I don’t know if I’d try it on your own. If you bought it you can find instructions on line. I’m just not too familiar with the new rigs.

I could be wrong but I think it has to have the same part number or be the same frequency and have the same button functions

I’m pretty sure GM changed it so 2011 or newer vehicles require a dealer or locksmith to program the FOB. I had one done for my 2013 Yukon XL and it cost me $200 with roughly 1/2 of that labor.

On my 2008 Yukon XL, it was $18 off of Amazon and 5 minutes of my time in my driveway.
